Driving awareness and registrations for Quest Wales
Quest Adventure Series and its popular adventure racing events have taken Ireland by storm, offering a fun, alternative race format for people seeking a physical challenge.
Whilst well-established in Ireland, the Quest Wales event in Snowdonia National Park is still in its infancy. We were appointed to drive awareness and registrations through media and influencer engagement.
We activated an effective press office including the creation of regular media content including trend pieces, expert workouts and participant case studies to engage journalists. Alongside strong influencer relationships, we generated a regular stream of coverage across key media – over 90 pieces of coverage across a 9 month period across consumer, specialist and regional media, directly contributing to registrations for the event.
On race weekend, we hosted an overnight media trip with six top journalists and influencers we invited to participate in the event, including the Press Association and ITV Loose Women’s fitness expert Faisal Abdalla. This perfectly captured the spirit of Quest with attendees embracing the supportive atmosphere and community feel which the events pride themselves on.
