We check out Balance Festival

Posted 22.05.2018

Fresh from Be:Fit and Elevate, Emma and Leandra headed to Balance Festival to check out “the UK’s largest celebration of the fitness and wellness scene”.

Back for 2018 at the Old Truman Brewery, Balance offers people the latest brands, fitness classes, health eating and expert talks from influencers within the health and wellbeing industry. There was also an Allegra Wellness Summit that was hosted for those in the fitness industry who were looking to discover more about the latest wellness insights.

We were invited to the Allegra Wellness summit in the morning, and were able to attend talks from a number of familiar industry names including the likes of Project Fitness, Alpro and TRX. The afternoon was spent walking the show, speaking to exhibitors and attending talks from well-known influencers in the health and fitness world (the likes of Zanna Van Djik, Harry Jameson and Faisal Abdalla).

The show had a great range of nutrition and athleisurewear brands, that highlighted the increasing demand for natural and plant-based foods, and functionality and style when training. Having said that, we did come away thinking that the nutrition space seemed very crowded with a lot of brands in stiff competition with each other!

All in all, it was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the show.
