Last week Leandra attended the ukactive Campaigns Forum.

The session provided the fitness sector with the opportunity to hear about upcoming physical activity campaigns and ways the public can also get involved throughout 2020.

Facilitated Professor Greg Whyte, there were presentations from the leads of This Girl Can, We Are Undefeatable, Travel to Tokyo, Change4Life, I Am Team GB and National Fitness Day.

Here is a summary of the campaigns and how you can get involved.

This Girl Can

This Girl Can, funded by The National Lottery, believes that there’s no “right” way to get active.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We Are Undefeatable (WAU)

If you’re managing a long-term health condition, WAU is about finding what works for you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Travel to Tokyo

Inspiring pupils and their families to get active together in the run up to the Tokyo 2020 Games with Team GB and ParalympicsGB.

I Am Team GB is returning and aiming to continue to inspire more people to be active.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Change4Life and Disney

Change4Life and Disney have teamed up again to bring new Shake Up games inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4 and Incredibles 2, and Disney’s The Lion King and Frozen. These 10-minute bursts of fun are a way to get kids moving and count towards the 60 active minutes they need every day!
