The Harlequins Foundation launch SportVB

Posted 27.01.2020

We’re delighted to have been working with The Harlequins Foundation since September, providing event support for the charity’s ground-breaking SportValueBank launch.

Working in partnership with social impact metrics company, Simetrica, The Harlequins Foundation’ SportVB tool is an online social value bank, designed to allow sporting organisations to assess and record the social impact of their work.

We invited 140+ leaders in sport to gather at The Twickenham Stoop to discover the unique offering of SportVB, while sharing best practice and providing an excellent opportunity for networking. Major figures and organisations were well-represented from across the sport sector, including UK Sport, Sport England, Premiership Rugby and the RFU.

Attendees had the chance to learn how the tool was developed, how it can help emphasize the impact of the work they do, and how the tool has already worked in action thanks to a case study from the pilot conducted by Everton in the Community.

Sue and the two Tom’s had leading roles on the day of the event, which included managing registration and ensuring all attending delegates received a positive experience.
