Project Rugby celebrates Premiership Rugby cup final

Posted 04.06.2019

Ahead of the momentous Premiership Rugby cup final between Saracens and Exeter on June 1, Tom J and our intern, Sophie, had the honour of helping Project Rugby celebrate their recent landmark of engaging with 25,000 new players.

Project Rugby is a joint initiative between Premiership Rugby and England Rugby, challenging under-representation in the sport from BAME, low socio-economic backgrounds and disabled people.

As part of the celebrations, Project Rugby held a participation festival at Kneller Hall, Twickenham whereby youngsters from across the country gathered together to reflect on the programme’s success.

Tom J and Sophie were kept busy throughout the day, liaising with media to ensure they captured the day’s activities. The Promote duo were also lucky enough to gain media access into the commentary gantry at Twickenham Stadium for the final!
