Premiership Rugby Appoints Promote PR

Posted 21.09.2017

Premiership Rugby has appointed Promote PR to help launch a ground-breaking grassroots campaign targeting under-represented groups. The appointment of the specialist sports PR agency – whose current clients include the RFU, the ECB, England Athletics and British Rowing – followed a three-way pitch.

Commenting on the new appointment, Kenny Brown, Play Development Manager at Premiership Rugby, said: “It was clear from the start that Promote has established itself as the ‘go to’ agency for targeting diverse audiences and bringing them into grassroots sport. The agency’s passion for sport is evident and this, coupled with the wide range of skills and experience in the team, made Promote PR an obvious choice for us. We’re very much looking forward to working with them.”

Sue Anstiss, Promote’s CEO, said: “There was a real synergy with the Premiership Team in the pitch process – something that’s really important to us as an agency. We’re massive rugby fans at Promote and can’t wait to get started working on this ground-breaking project for the sport.”
