Questex-Mclean Events is pleased to announce that Kirk Vallis, Global Head of Creative Development at Google, will be the opening keynote speaker at SIBEC UK, taking place at The Belfry in Wishaw, West Midlands, on May 24-25 2017.

Kirk has worked with some of the world’s most respected organisations, brands, biologists, geneticists and even Nobel prize winners to disrupt traditional thinking with the power of technology.

At this year’s SIBEC UK event, Kirk will share his approach for delivering change and unleashing the creative potential of employees to ensure organisations have the right conditions to deliver grow and innovate.

SIBEC UK 2017 is a sell-out event where more than 150 leisure industry buyers and suppliers, including representatives from private operators, local authorities, trusts and education facilities will meet to explore opportunities to work together.

The day prior to the face-to-face meeting schedule, SIBEC hosts its annual golf day, offering delegates the opportunity to relax and get to know each other socially over 18 holes of golf on the prestigious Brabazon course. The day finishes with dinner and prize giving following the Stapleford event.

Speaking about this year’s event, David Zarb Jenkins, Event Director, says: “We’re looking forward to holding our 13th SIBEC UK event in May. As always, it provides a unique and intimate meeting forum where delegates have the opportunity to create new partnerships and build on the success of existing ones in a relaxed and professional environment.

“Returning to the world-famous setting of The Belfry means we can offer all our delegates first-class conference, hotel and golf facilities and the venue provides the perfect setting to relax, network and, most importantly, conduct business.
