Five go to FIBO 2017

Posted 12.04.2017

Last week, Sue, Nasima, Alison, Nicky and Amelia were in Cologne for FIBO 2017, Europe’s biggest fitness trade show, to meet with clients, media and industry partners as well as see first-hand the sector’s latest trends and innovations.

The sheer scale of four-day event is always impressive (the equivalent of around 22 football pitches!) and over 1,000 exhibitors gathered from around the world to showcase their latest offerings in fitness, wellness and health.

The first action-packed day was spent catching up with our fab clients including Life Fitness, TRX, Wattbike, Polar, Meridian Foods and Elevate. Navigating their way around 10 halls of exhibitors required some expert planning and the team took the opportunity to check out the latest in innovative boutique concepts, smart training at the gym, new group fitness concepts and healthy nutrition trends.

The Members’ dinner held by ukactive was a lovely way to spend the evening. Along with plenty of great networking, it was a chance to meet up with past and present clients along with lots of industry friends.

Day two of the show was an equally busy one for the team with a schedule packed with media and client meetings. FIBO is well-regarded as a show where innovations are launched and it was certainly the case with the new and exciting product launches from Life Fitness, Polar and Meridian Foods. It was great for the team to learn more and get hands-on with the products.
