Feeling the magic at the Anytime Fitness Conference
Having started working with Anytime Fitness at the beginning of the year, we were excited to have the opportunity to attend our first Annual Conference.
Taking place in Nottingham, the two-day event brings together the company’s numerous franchisees from across the country to provide a comprehensive business update, an insight into the exciting future of the brand as well as an annual awards ceremony for the network.
The theme of the event was ‘A Kind of Magic’ with the importance of great customer service in providing a memorable member experience a key highlight. Demonstrated perfectly by Anytime Fitness UK CEO, Stuart Broster, donning a pair of Mickey Mouse to show what magic really looks like!
We really enjoyed our experience, including an insight into Anytime Fitness’ Digital Marketing strategy both globally and in the UK, a favourite takeaway being that FOBO (fear of being offline) is the new FOMO! We also enjoyed the insight from Dean Coomer at Chimp Management who explained the importance of controlling your own ‘inner chimp’ as well as that of your staff and members to ensure you get the best out of everyone.
It’s an incredibly exciting time for Anytime Fitness, with the latest State of the UK Fitness Industry Report revealing that they now rank as the second largest private fitness club operator in the UK. With a network of passionate and motivated franchisees and nearly 150 clubs open in the UK, we’re looking forward to seeing them continue to increase their presence in the UK!
