Over the Irish Sea
On Wednesday we had a very busy day in Ireland, having set up a press briefing day with multiple Irish national and consumer magazines and newspapers.
Health and wellbeing is certainly forefront of the Irish audience’s mind, and we were keen to fly out there and meet with key contacts to source what editorial opportunities might be available for a number of clients.
We have to say – everyone was very friendly and receptive towards us and our clients! We’ve never felt so welcomed speaking to ‘international’ media before. We met with the following:
- Woman’s Way – the largest women’s weekly magazine in Ireland
- Sunday World – a large weekly tabloid paper and magazine filled with latest celebrity and lifestyle news
- Irish Daily Star – another large daily tabloid paper within Ireland
- The Irish Sun – as you can guess, the very large cousin to our own The Sun in the UK
It was certainly a very useful day in terms of sourcing editorial opportunities and building relationships with key journalist contacts – plenty more opportunities to be had here in this market!
