Dina Asher-Smith launches #gocoach

Posted 24.10.2018

Another day, another shoot for the Promote team. This time we were at Bromley & Blackheath Harriers AC with Britain’s fastest woman, Dina Asher-Smith and her coach John Blackie, to capture content to support the launch of England Athletics’ #gocoach campaign.

#gocoach is a national campaign to bring 10,000 new running and athletics coaches and leaders into the sport by 2020.

The campaign is fronted by European champion Dina Asher-Smith and her longstanding coach, John Blackie. Check out the campaign video here.

Being a coach or run leader is a great way to get involved in the sport, build new friendships and positively affect the lives of other people in your local community. Coaches have a tremendous impact on people’s experience of sport and physical activity, whether that’s helping them to achieve their full potential as a competitive athlete or encouraging them to become active and enjoy the many benefits of exercise.
