Cooking for Fitness

Posted 03.12.2018

Last week we entered the L’Escargot restaurant in Soho, London to the tantalising smells of recipes from James Haskell’s new book ‘Cooking for Fitness’. Not only did we have a chance to sample some of the recipes, but we also got to hear from James about his inspiration for the book and why nutrition plays such an important role in his life.

James has teamed up with chef Omar Meziane, the man responsible for ensuring that the diets of the Wasps, British Rowing GB athletes and most recently England’s Men’s Football Team (and yes he did name drop Harry Kane a couple of times as being a big fan of his food!) are of the highest possible standard so as to help improve and fuel their own performance.

We attended alongside some of the Meridian Foods team, as they are sponsoring select recipes within the book due to James’ obsession with the Meridian nut butters. Stay tuned for the New Year where more information will be released…
