50 races to run before you die

Posted 02.03.2016

Last night, running and adventure enthusiasts Catherine and Nicky headed to London to support the lovely Tobias Mews in the launch of his new book, ’50 races to run before you die’.

Tobias, an adventure athlete and journalist has run the equivalent of 13 trips to the peak of Mount Everest and back in his dogged research for this collection of 50 legendary races. From iconic road runs and obstacle course races to prestigious marathons and brutal mountain ultras, these epic challenges will have you re-writing your bucket list goals.

Attendees were wined and dined at The Running Works venue (which also provided a great opportunity to shop trainers, lycra and raid the sale) and after a short speech from the man himself, he was bombarded with book signing requests…. Yes we were some of the first in the queue.
Well worth a read for any budding runners, adventurers or those just interested in exercise and the limits one man can push himself to. This isn’t a book to intimidate, it’s to encourage, inspire and motivate. The Parkrun rightfully gets its nod in the top 50, and this for some may be the first step to much, much more…
You can buy the book from amazon or look out for our next Promote newsletter for you chance to win one for free!
