Wattbike media day

Last week, Scarlett and Nicky were up bright and early and headed to The Institute of Sport, Exercise & Health in central London to host a Wattbike media day with a special rugby twist.

Media were given the chance to find out how Wattbike are helping to power England Rugby to success. They had the opportunity to talk all things Rugby and fitness with Wattbike ambassadors; Tom Youngs, England and Leicester Tigers player and Tamara Taylor, 2014 Rugby World Cup winner and England Captain.

And if that wasn’t enough we were then joined by Scott Drawer, RFU Athletic Performance Manager, who provided an insight into the sport science benefits of the Wattbike and how training on the bike can transfer to getting the best out of players on the pitch.
Not content to keep the media in their chairs, we got them kitted up on the bikes and put them to the test against Tom and Tamara with the latest technology from Wattbike.
Some tired faces (post the 6 second test), but a great day! Roll on the World Cup…
