Oxygen Freejumping appoint Promote
We're jumping for joy having been appointed by Oxygen Freejumping to launch its first of a national chain of sites across the UK. The first site opens in Acton, West London, in July 2015.
Oxygen Freejumping was founded by Fred Turok, founder of LA fitness and Dave Stalker, former ukactive CEO. After the initial site launch, a second site is due to open in Southampton in October, with five more sites planned for the next 12 months and a further 15 in the pipeline. The Oxygen team are hoping to mirror the success witnessed in the US and Australia, where more than 450 trampoline parks have sprung up since their first launch in 2004.
Each Oxygen park will be in the range of 15,000 to 40,000sq ft with more than 100 trampolines, allowing participants to literally bounce off the walls and floors. The parks will cater for all ages and abilities with a wide range on offer in addition to the vast freejumping areas including fitness classes, free running and obstacle courses, a trampolining academy and children’s parties. Collaboration with the local community will be key for each park – working with schools, sports teams, charities and local interest groups.
Dave Stalker, CEO of Oxygen Freejumping, says: “Trampoline parks are the next major development for the leisure sector. Not only are they great fun for participants, but they will also assist in our long held quest to make Britain a healthier place.”
