Nicki goes off-road with Women's Running Bristol 10k

It was Nicki's third race of the Women's Running 10k Series at the weekend, this time in Bristol. 500 runners took on the scenic trail race at Blaise Castle and with heavy rain before the morning's event it was set to be a challenging, muddy, slippery course through the woods.

With varied terrain and a number of inclines thrown in too, it was by far one of the toughest courses of the Series. There was not a clean pair of trainers in sight!

Nicki was spot on in her pacing crossing the line at 54:59, just one second off her target pace of 55minutes! Fluke or skill?!

A brilliantly organised Series, friendly and welcoming race villages and best goody bags around. Congrats to all involved!
