New MD for Promote PR
We're thrilled to announce that Nasima Hussain has been promoted to Managing Director.
Nasima will report to Sue Anstiss, the founder of our agency, who now takes the role of CEO.
Nasima will be responsible for the day to day management of our multi-award-winning agency, which has experienced significant growth since she joined the team at the beginning of the year. Along with the appointment of four new team members this summer, high profile new business wins for us in the last month alone include the London FA, Central YMCA and Action for Charity’s Ride the Night and Walk the Night events, along with new projects for the RFU and England Athletics.
“Nasima has already had a huge impact on the business" says Sue. After almost 24 years specialising in the field of sports and fitness PR we know that our agency’s experience and insight in this space is second to none. Coupling this with Nasima’s extensive consumer PR experience and management skills means that we’re in an incredibly strong position for future growth and development. I’m so excited about the future for Promote PR.”
Nasima comments: “Soon after I’d joined the agency it became very clear that Sue has built a fantastic business with an unparalleled reputation in sport and fitness. We’re going from strength to strength with our expanded team and a range of new services for clients. As physical activity and wellness continue to be a priority for the nation, Promote is THE agency best placed to support organisations and brands striving to get more people, more active, more often.”
Nasima has over 20 years’ experience in PR and communications across many sectors including health and wellbeing, beauty, entertainment and FMCG. With previous senior roles at leading agencies including Speed Communications, Bray Leino, Grayling and The Communications Store, Nasima led integrated campaigns for global brands such as Samsung, P&G, Marks & Spencer and Heinz.
