Inspiring the next generation

Sue enjoyed watching an extraordinary weekend of women’s sport with her youngest daughter Tess.

First they headed to Twickenham Stadium to watch the Red Roses. Five tries from Jess Breach and a hat-trick from Abbie Dow helped the Red Roses complete a 3-0 Old Mutual Wealth Series whitewash over Canada with a 69-19 victory.

Tess and her friends from Windsor Rugby Club even got a photo with the England Captain Sarah Hunter, who had celebrated her 100th cap earlier in the week.

The next day they headed to the Copper Box at Olympic Park to watch the England Netball team beat Malawi 61:53 in a fantastic, physical game in the second of the Vitality International Netball Series.

Wonderful inspiration for Tess and the rest of her team at Windsor Netball Club - especially to see one of their favourite players Kadeen Corbin win her 50th cap
