We had a wonderful day out listening to innovative speakers at the London Sport ‘Participation – The Revolution will be Digital’ event which aptly took place at London’s Science Museum.

The event kicked off with talks from the likes of Sport England’s Charles Johnston around the ‘State of Play’ in the sport sector, followed by a panel discussion hosted by David Naylor which saw key industry thinkers debate the digital revolution.

We got the chance to meet some interesting brands that have recently entered the FitTech space such as, Our Parks – we were a little tempted to join their live yoga session which was streaming worldwide.

Of course, a highlight of our day was seeing Matt Nathanielsz from bounts (our fabulous client) who spent the day discussing geolocation and reward services for exercise.

Towards the end of the event keynote speakers such as Fitbit’s Aideen O’Colmain made their way to the stage, sharing their own brand experiences and commenting on the digital revolution as a whole.

We really enjoyed the day and the chance to hear the insights of leading industry figures – before making our way to the tube we he had to congratulate our favourite ‘Sport Technology Innovation’ award winners of the evening, Exciting Engineering – a bunch of extremely talented Loughborough students, who will be going places!
