Elevating discussion about physical inactivity

Elevating discussion about physical inactivity - Promote PR News

This week saw industry professionals attend Elevate, which took place at Olympia London between 4-5 May.

It was the UK’s first cross-sector event bringing together the physical activity sector, academia, healthcare, government and performance experts, focusing on an increasingly important and complex societal challenge: tackling physical inactivity.

The Promote team were on hand to manage the press office, benefiting from a packed two days of networking, seminars, demonstrations and new product launches.

Along with attendees, the Promote team were able to learn from over 130 expert speakers who shared their knowledge and ideas on the strategies to increase participation, physical activity for health and well-being and the future of elite performance. Dame Sally Davies, the Chief Medical Officer at the Department of Health delivered an opening speech focusing on physical inactivity.

Elevate was a huge success and a number of influential brands, experts and organisations have already signed up to the 2017 event, to be held at the ExCeL in London 10-11 May. Watch this space for more info!
