BT Sport Action Women Awards

Sue was a bit star struck as she represented the Women's Sport Trust at last night's BT Sport Action Woman awards.

The event, which was brilliantly hosted by Clare Balding  recognised a wide range of incredible female sporting achievements this year. Taking place at Sport’s Olympic Park studios, the show will be broadcast tonight at 7.30pm on BT Sport.

Dressage superstar Charlotte Dujardin received the most public votes to be crowned BT Sport’s Action Woman of the Year after a sensational 2014 which saw her become a double World Champion. Charlotte is the first British equestrian rider to simultaneously hold Olympic, world, European and World Cup titles.

Second place went to Shauna Coxsey won two bouldering World Cup series gold medals to become the first British woman ever on the podium in the sport.

In third place was Jo Pavey who was at the centre of one of the year’s biggest sporting stories as the mum-of-two who became the oldest ever female European champion, winning 10,000m gold just weeks before her 41st birthday.

Here's the video of Charlotte acceptance speech as she was presented her award by last year's winner Rachel Atherton.
