From the opening speech from Controller Gwyneth Williams right the way through to the audience giving Baroness Doreen Lawrence a standing ovation as she was named the No.1 Game Changer it was an emotional and inspiring event.

Baroness Lawrence, who fought for justice following the murder of her son Stephen, was awarded first place in this years’ Power List as she was hailed as “truly an example to us all.”

The list reflected women who have changed the face of power in the last year, impacting lives and changing society. A profile of each of the Top 10 women can be found here. If you missed the broadcast, here’s the link – well worth a listen!
