Leisure Industry Week 2009 - Gatorade

"Gatorade had its second appearance at Leisure Industry Week this year and it proved to be one of the jewels in our annual marketing calendar. Co-ordinated through our marketing agency Promote PR, Gatorade’s was able to use LIW as a platform to develop exciting new customer relationships, forge brand partnerships with leading fitness businesses as well as use the event to showcase our credentials in sport, with the appearance of our sponsored athletes, Jo Jackson and Simeone Williamson, as well as an appearance from Worcester Warriors RFC. Most importantly, LIW provides a forum for our nutritional experts to talk to fitness professionals about the quality and efficacy of Gatorade and it is this dialogue with the UK fitness industry that helps to build the credibility and ongoing success of the brand in the UK. The success of the three days is built upon the hard work of our marketing activities throughout the year but there can also be no doubt about the necessity to have an agency that understands the fitness industry and has the tools to be able to communicate and navigate this landscape. To that end, I have to congratulate Promote on managing an exceptional LIW for Gatorade, which to my mind stole the show. "
